Think about this. You travel to work and back home every day on the same highway. You have done this for 5 yrs without an accident/incident of any kind. You must conclude from this experience that you can travel this same road, everyday, for another 5 years without an accident/incident of any kind and therefore have no fear of death by traveling on this road.

You have put together an amazingly strong case to suggest that whatever a scientific person gives to a public newspaper or similar publication will turn out to be incorrect based on the predicted date of such an event. This doesn't preclude the event from eventually taking place. It is just the date that is not correct. It is a shame the scientists didn't fully grasp the evil world of the news publications. I am not going to research these claimed prophecies as it would take too long and doesn't help anyone given that we are in 2025. We know a lot more about the world in 2025. We have much improved instrumentation of the world. We are much clearer on what is happening so we can predict the future with a clearer vision than in the past.
